Sammy (2969), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 6, 2007 Their Kent hop . Lacey with noticeable head, some hops in there. Malty. OK cask beer. Floral and herby hops, and some sticky candy there. kmweaver (1813), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA May 2, 2007 Growler, courtesy of LordMaynard. Thanks, Russ! Even after two+ weeks in the growler, this pours beautifully: a clear, golden-orange color; fluffy, off-white head with great retention and lacing that coats the inside of the glass. Plenty of citrusy bitterness in the aroma; English-style bittering with some candy sugar malt underneath. Medium mouthfeel: citrus and English-style hops upfront; lively carbonation; well-balanced with a candy sugar and maple syrup maltiness. Very drinkable and tasty, like a hopped-up ESB. Nice, dry dose of floral and citrus hops on the finish.
