COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer started out as "el Diablo", a Belgian Golden Ale aged on oak chips and lightly spiced with bitter orange peel and coriander, but is now transformed thanks to 6 months of bottle conditioning with 3 strains of wild Brettanomyces yeast.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear dark yellow color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour & tart fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart fruit flavor with a medium to heavy tart & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

750ml bottle, tasted at Tmoney99’s 10K tasting. Bottle 409/467. Hazy orange yellow color. Thin off-white head. Dots of lace. Thin off-white head. Dots and ropes of lace. Looks solid. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Medium to bigger body. Moderate sweet, good sour taste. Good lemon, tart taste, some belgian yeast. Some oak. Nice, tasty sour belgian golden ale.

750 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with asmall off white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice tart character, fruity, dry Brett notes, wood, decent spicy character. The Brett definitely exerts itself with the dry funk throughout. Still very good after some time.

750 ml bottle to taster (shared by alexsdad06). Bottle # 409/467. Looks good; a mildly cloudy deeper golden orange with ample fluffy eggshell head. Smells good; tart and funky with a touch of orange sweetness. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly dry, bretty mouthfeel. This is great beer!

Pours a hazy blonde color with a finger of fizzy white foam. Aromas of sweet tart candy, belgian spice and a touch of musty grape juice. The palate follows the nose with a medicinal sweetness mingling with peppered yeast notes, musty stale oak and some funky cured meat... Yikes !

Bottle 222/467, thanks Sam! Loud POP from the cork, pours with massive white head. Super Bretty; hay and barnyard funk, grassy, very dry. Zero sourness. Way too much carb, even after sitting for awhile. Not my style.

22 ounce bottle pours a light hazy orange color with aromas of light funk, barnyard, yeast, oak, mustiness, tea, grass, and light lemon. Flavors are the same, a mixture of all the aromas, easy drinker, great flavors, a solid beer. Wish I had more, glad I got to try this one.

Bottle from Capone’s. A real funk experience, with some foaming. A fresh smell, A big soapy head on cloudy dark yellow body. Tartness really comes through at the end of the bottle, I liked the bitterness at that point. Funky aroma and taste, some leather belt.Above average mouthfeel.

Hazy orange-dulled tan. Big steady off-white head. Top notch American sour, a little test tubey, but a great malt backbone and great effervescence. Big but still clean and drinkable. Duvel meets sour? Really excellent.

From notes. Golden orange body, with a massive white head, and dense frothy lacing. Nose shows orange peel, mellow grain malt base, oak, wet hay, must and bretty yeast. Flavor is similar. Essentially a funked out Duvel. Moderate acidity, medium bodied, assertive carbonation, nice refreshing finish.
