22 ounce bottle pours a light hazy orange color with aromas of light funk, barnyard, yeast, oak, mustiness, tea, grass, and light lemon. Flavors are the same, a mixture of all the aromas, easy drinker, great flavors, a solid beer. Wish I had more, glad I got to try this one.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7040) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2013
Bottle from Capone’s. A real funk experience, with some foaming. A fresh smell, A big soapy head on cloudy dark yellow body. Tartness really comes through at the end of the bottle, I liked the bitterness at that point. Funky aroma and taste, some leather belt.Above average mouthfeel.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 nuplastikk (3286) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Hazy orange-dulled tan. Big steady off-white head. Top notch American sour, a little test tubey, but a great malt backbone and great effervescence. Big but still clean and drinkable. Duvel meets sour? Really excellent.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 callmemickey (1356) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2012
From notes. Golden orange body, with a massive white head, and dense frothy lacing. Nose shows orange peel, mellow grain malt base, oak, wet hay, must and bretty yeast. Flavor is similar. Essentially a funked out Duvel. Moderate acidity, medium bodied, assertive carbonation, nice refreshing finish.

Growler shared by drabmuh at a small tasting I hosted last weekend. Thanks Matt!
A: This beer appears a pale orange / yellow color. There is approximately one of inch of white, bubbly head that sticks around for several minutes, leaving a few traces of lacing on the glass.
S: The aroma instantly indicates that this beer is brewed in the Belgian style, with notes of heavy spices, tea, grass.
T: The absolute first thing I notice is the overwhelming barrage of spices assaulting my palate. Wow. The spices themselves taste fine, but sometimes less is more, as is the case here. There is a mild fruitiness to the beer. I detect a faint hop bitterness, mostly toward the finish. There’s a fair amount of complexity to the beer, and the flavors are pleasant, even if too forward in some aspects.
M: Overly spiced, medium bodied with high carbonation.
D: A decent brew. I’m glad I had the chance to try it, but it wasn’t among my favorites of the style.

Bottle shared by Madvike while waiting for tickets at GTMW, pours a dark golden with a nice white head and some spotty lacing, the aroma has a decent amount of funk mixed in with some citrus and lemon as well, the flavor has some brett on the front end with a lemon and citrus touch and a tart dry finish, not bad at all.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 madvike (2090) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle 288/467 from hbmason...thanks Tim! Pours light amber with a huge foamy white head. Big bretty nose, dry, with lemon and some tart funk. Taste is light herbal hops with lemon rind, funky brett, and a touch of plastic. Dry, citrus rind finish. Crazy carbonation on this one, and a pretty fluffy body. Crisp and pretty refreshing, but very brett-forward.

Pours a rich golden orange hue, firm haze, offering a rich thicker bubbly whitish head atop, laces ok and sticks around. Aromas are rich firm bretty funk, cobwebs and touches of tangelo and berry. Mellow citrus, gentle lactic lemony acid, some yogurt. Lively, fruity and bretty firm push. Initial is lighter bodied, offering lively effervescent carbonation driven body. Dry funky brett, yeast, and funk. Carbonation and champagne driven yeast. Gentle fruit, dry touches of citrus and faint lactic acid. Richer cheesy funk, some good funk and dryness pairs into the finish. Pretty solid, dry and brett driven. Touches of oak, faint red dies out quickly. Solid and lively, refreshing.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jredmond (4023) - Manhattan, New York, USA - APR 1, 2012
UPDATED: APR 2, 2012 Bottle split with Linh. Pours a deep bright hazy orange amber with thick white lacing. Aroma is funky Brett and sour saison. Mouthfeel is very carbonated with notes of funky saison, Brett, lemon, sour fruit. This guy could probably last a few more years given that the carbonation was super aggressive.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 crosamich (430) - Naples, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Sep2010. This one has some phenolic funk and more saison-like. A little more funky than I would like in a wild ale. I believe this was all Brett so expect this one to age out to more funk with time. I fell victim to the hype and knew it before I sent my box off.
