3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled as "Saison" at State College BrewExpo. This cloudy pale amber beer had a slight wispy pale foamy head, a medium watery body and mild carbonation. It was listed as Saison at the festival, but I was told that it was really just a rename of the Farmhouse Ale. By aroma, there was some nice yeastiness and mild dusty grain notes. Taste was rougher than I had hoped for, but there was definitely a yeasty lemony component and light spices. In all, it was rather tangy, if not actually acidic.

Clear gold. Quite sweet, rather sugary. A bit musty. Very simple, but good.
