Cask. Pours a clear dark amber body with a small frothy light brown head that had very good retention. The nose is sweet candy sugar over a lightly funky and sour base. There’s a good bit of brett, some light acetic notes and a bit of sweaty feet. The flavor is actually pretty close to most of the Faros that I’ve had. Slightly acetic and funky up front with a distinctive candi sugar sweetness that takes over. A little lingering acetic flavor out lasts the sweetness. Medium bodied, a touch clingy with minimal cask carbontion Maybe a little lacking in funkiness compare to Cantillon or Drie Fonteinen Faro, but a nice effort for the pub.
