Commercial Description:
Helles is short for "hellbier" meaning "pale bier". This is very crisp and fresh tasting lager aged for 6 weeks. Delicate and refreshing, this one begs for Spring!

On tap at the brewery. Mild dirty dusty funk aroma, somewhat lactic and no sweetness. Clear pale golden with thin white foamy head. Light body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with crisp hops bite. Grassy notes with mild sweetness. Light lactic finish with good bitterness. Mild bite and dry bitter after. Along the lines of a classic pils, really.
