A richly aromatic amber ale with plenty of body and bite for any cold winter night.

On tap at brewpub. Dark copper pour with a small but creamy head. Well balanced aroma of caramel malt and citric hops, reminiscent of a light IPA with some grapefruit notes. Citric hop flavor balanced with sweet and toasted malt. Bitterness is subdued up front but asserts itself a little more in the finish. Light to medium bodied with fizzy and prickly carbonation. Not as assertively bitter than I was expecting. Bitterness does add a little more flavor than your average Amber.
