4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 kramer (3455) - Sunbury, USA - JAN 2, 2009
On tap, at brewery. Pours a hazy orangish body with a tight bubbled creamy white head that had excellent retention. Great interplay between the bright citrusy and floral hops and pronounced Belgian yeast on the nose. Nice bready and doughy pils malt base, very floral and perfumy smelling. There’s a nice bitterness to go with those nice smelling hops as well. Lots of pale maltiness, a little alcohol on the finish, great yeast character. Mouthfeel is full and soft with a nice creamy texture and light pinpoint fizzy carbonation. A really nice beer, big but not heavy, loaded with flavor and fresh hops.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jtclockwork (3835) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 6, 2012
Bottle shared with Jcwatts. Pours muddy orange brown with off white head. Nose/taste of yeast, orange peel, bready malts, caramel toffee, pine and citrus. Hops mostly faded over time, but still some citrus and pine. Beer is well balanced and has held up tremendously well. Smooth - more of a Belgian strong now than an IPA. Medium body.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 callmemickey (795) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2012
A: Nice light amber body, solid eggshell white head, great lacing.
S: I am getting more hops than yeast in the nose. Soft citrus, liight pine. Some bready malt.
T: Bam, there is the belgian yeast. Rides nicely over top the malt canvas and citrus accents.
M: Smooth. Relatively light body. Good bitter bite.
O: Solid. Enjoyed this beer than most other belgian IPAs. Went well with my meal.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 womencantsail (3927) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - APR 4, 2011
A: The pour is a hazed golden orange color with a finger’s worth of white head.
S: An intensely fruity aroma which I wasn’t quite expecting. Pineapple and citrus (grapefruit and tangerines). A bit of apricot and peaches. Some sugar and pale malts, and plenty of yeast.
T: I was surprised by how hoppy the flavor of this was. A touch of bitterness but overall really fruity. Pineapple, apricot, peach, mango, grapefruit, melon, and tangerine all come to mind. A slight sugary quality and a little bit of bread. Yeast and oak are there, but in the background.
M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
O: Really solid. This one didn’t sound like it had too much promise, but an awesome flavor all around.

750ml bottle. Rating #63. Medium gold with a light dirty white head. Soapy hop atoms, light soap though and pretty nice actually. Sweet hippy melon sweetness, really unique flavor, I like it. (1551)

Loved this beer. A good strong taste with clean finish. A bit of a oaky bite (oaky, I think) on first sip, which was unique. Finished very strong too.

very average for its style. I am not a big fan of the belgian/IPA cross over deal. This had an off taste and didn’t enjoy this one. Not Bullfrogs best show.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Sammy (6119) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 13, 2010
Bottle from the brewpub. Its these beers that continue to keep me driving long distances back here. Pours cloudy grapefruit with a white head. The aromas, initially pineapple, and then orange. The hop selection is yummy with significant orange and fruity. Alcohol warming, bit still very drinkable and not to be missed. Creamy mouthfeel, and no overt taste of the yeast. If it began to fade over the 16 months, even better.
