4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2006 I should preface this by saying that I am quite a hophead. According to the bartender the hop profile of this one had been changed for this batch so the commercial description may no longer be accurate. This beer is a hop lovers dream. Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy caramel color with a small white head. The aroma is a stron g assault of floral and fruity hops. The flavor is also massively strong with fruity and floral hops with a sweet rich malty undertone. I was really impressed with this one and look forward to having it again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Night before Ommegang Fest. For those of us that came to the fest Friday night, we were treated to this gem from the great guys at Bullfrog. English Style IPA with a dry yet somehow lightly fruit flavored. Grassy, grapefruit and dry. Good times indeed.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
well balanced IPA. Not too hoppy, and you can taste malt, which was peppery. Good aftertaste, not overly carbonated. Just a bit of head. Fresh positive smell

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Happy citrus aroma, but not enough malt on the palate. Feels a bit thin, like a gentle hop tea. Unbalanced but not unpleasant.

Very nice IPA, lots of hops in the aroma as well as the flavors, nice bitter & dry aftertaste, excellent pale ale
