Sunny gold in complexion with a vinous, psychedelic aroma bursting with wildness. Bone dry with a champagne-like effervescent and volatile acidity. Additional aging in oak barrels develops an even more complex palate.

Rare gem shared by Diego at his tasting. Thanks man! Pours a gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma has some dry tart acidic notes. Quite a bit of funky notes and I agree with CapnJazz that there are white wine notes. Flavor is not nearly as sour or acidic as I expected. I got some fruity flavors and some yeast and oaky flavors too. Very dry on the finish. Good, but I don’t feel its top in its class.

Bottle… WTF OMG!… Murky, pear-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet is spicy, earthy and funky - notes of citrus, sharp cheese and a touch of mint. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor starts off very tart, but is cut nicely with toffee and fuzzy fruit sweetness. The finish is tart, then lightly sweet and caramely for the grand finale.

Bottle shared by Steve at the September 2010 Metro Detroit tasting. Poured a clear gold with a near white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was full of sour fruit with some citrus and a nice funky backing. Flavor was similar with sour fruit and citrus that mellows with the funk really coming out in the finish.
