COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ah, it,s that time of year again...Hop Harvest! Thanks to local legends Doug and Mary McMinn we were able to pick enough fresh hops to season this new annual treat. Hazy amber in color with a wonderful aroma of fresh Cascade and Chinook hops lightly balanced with a fruity maltiness to boot. Just over 15 lbs. of fresh, wet hops are suspended in the serving tank soaking in the beer, this will cause the beer to evolve becoming more hoppy over the next two weeks. Although this is a hoppy brew, its smooth, creamy and fresh with most of the hops contributing more to its aroma and flavor and less towards its bitterness. THANX DOUG!

Poured a clear amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral hops, grass, caramel malts, and toast. Taste of sweeter caramel, citrus, toffee, light toast, pine, and light grapefruit in the finish.

Aroma of floral hops, pine tree and some citrus. Taste is light and fresh. Juicy citrus hops with some grass. Also a bit thin and lingers a bit with the food.

Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 9, 2009
Medium copper with a thin lasting head Aroma is citrus and resinous hops- pnw with a touch of fresh cut grass- light dough and crystal malt as well. Flavor has more pine sap and rsin along with an almost lime like citrus hop character- good fresh chinook- almost a cold smokey piney resin character and a light sweetness backbone with nice harsh resinous hop bitterness. Becomes a bit weak as it warms and turns a bit watered down but if this were to be amped up it would be real nice.

Tap. Aroma of pale malt and perfumy, floral hops. Flavor of sweet, fruity malt with a mildly resinous hop presence. Ok.

Miver (607) - Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2008
Draft at brewpub. Poured amber in color with a small beige head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops mostly. Tastes of piney and citrus hops with a light caramel sweetness in the base. Hops certainly tasted fresh but the mouth feel was a little thin.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a light orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts and light citrus. Flavor of sweet apricot, light fruits, and a slight hops tinge. Tasty and the best Bullfrog beer I had on my brief visit.

On tap at the Bullfrog Brew Pub. Poured a medium amber / orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, pine, and a trace of caramel. Tastes of citrus, pine, and caramel. Light sweet start with a medium bitter finish.
