This beer starts with a rich aroma of ripe fruit, dark malts, and a top of spicy hops. At first sip this beer explodes in yor mouth with a burst of sweetness that fades to a wondefully long, dry, slightly sour finish. Brewed to emulate the porter of yesteryear, this beer is served from our handpump for a smooth, creamy head and lasting satisfaction.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A chewy good stout. Black with just a bit of head. Traditional coffee smell. Easy drink of roasted malt. Not a bad brew to be had here, though this was average for them. Nice moderate carbonation

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweetened coffee and cream with a hint of fruits like dates and figs, and then a coating rusty finish. If you like more bitter porters this may not be for you, but it is tasty and worth a try. One of this brewery's better offerings.
