COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flemish style sour ale initially brewed as our quad, aged for two years in second generation red wine barrels that previously held Jaspers. Blended then steeped with Montmorency sour cherries and bottle conditioned with Belgian candi sugar, Oud 15 represents the culmination of 15 years of brewing, and is worthy of the commemoration.

Bottle at a daknole tasting. Pours a murky burgundy with no head. Nice tart nose of vinegar, old leather, Lacto, and acetone. Subtle sourness with medium vinous tones and dark cherries and leather. Moderate body with little carbonation. Great beer.

Bottle shared by hoppypocket, thanks! Dark murky brown pour with a ring of white foam. Aroma of cherries, brown sugar, oak, light acetic notes, great oud bruin aroma. Taste is sour, alcohol is very, very well hidden behind layers of dark malt and tart fruits. Taste is quite sour, slightly mouth puckering. An intense experience.

Mahogany pour with a khaki head. Cherry, balsamic vinegar, red wine, and a nice oak note. Sweet dark fruits, a bit of sweet malt, chocolate, and some lemon zest. There’s a bit of caramel, dark fruit, and chocolate sweetness. Some balsamic vinegar, a bit of cherry, red wine, oak, and lemon zest. Pretty nice and I would have never guessed this was 13%.

Pours brown with thin beige head that quickly disappears. Taste of tart fruits and a mild sweet finish for balance. Leaves the palate slightly dry.

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by David, thanks! Dark brown with a small beige head, no lacing. Aroma of cherries, red fruits, brown sugar, oak, cacao, tart & vinous notes. Taste is moderately sweet with red fruits, vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, malt, oak, cacao and red wine. Mouthfeel is velvety, but a bit winey-like too. Medium to full body. Low carbonation. Alcohol is very well-hidden for a 13% abv beer. Excellent american take on a Flesmish Sour! Quite drinkable for the style and high abv.

Pours a dark brown with a thin beige head and no lacing. Aroma of sweet cherries, oak, tartness, vinous. Tastes has sour cherries, funk, the base quad makes the rich malt express themselves here. Some vinous notes are present. Medium body and low carb. Alcohol is well hidden for a 13% beer.
