From a bottle that is likely 3 years old. Brown-amber, a puffy off white foam. Aroma is dark pit fruits, caramel, toffee, some alcohol spicing, definitely a bit old. Taste is similar, cherry, fig, caramel, toffee, probably held this one too long.

From the Bottle at Indulgences Etc, Denver 23/09/2009 Some hop aroma. Golden amber coloured and bitter with some alcohol present. Crisp and slighty dry wheat finish.

On tap at the brewpub 6/8/08: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a well-lacing white head. Estery caramely Belgian yeasty nose has a touch of light fruity notes. Body starts fairly full and biscuity malty sweet with some Belgian yeasty complexity and light fruity flavors before a semi-sweet peppery clove finish.

750ml bottle. Walking up from the ’cellar’ I decided to open this on the porch since I don’t fully trust some corked bottles. I’m sure glad I did. This let out a huge pop followed by a long stream of beer. This one also kept creeping out of the bottle and was almost impossible to pour. Took a long time, but settled into a deeper and hazy amber color. Aromas of yeast, breadiness, earthy, and toasted caramel. Tastes of yeast, some fruitiness, caramel, and lighter earthiness.
