On tap at Capone's. Poured a golden color with a small sized off white head. Lighter blueberries ( more in the tastes), toast, and some caramel.

Caponeís, Norristown tap: Pours a light copper color with a small head. Aroma is a little bit of funk and some fruitiness. Taste is dry and funky. I didnít really realize that there were blueberries while I was drinking, but it makes sense in retrospect Body is nice and light.

Medium red-brown, moderate egg-shell colored head, spotty lacing. Nose and flavor are fairly non-descript with some cereals, toasted malts, caramel, and traces of what must be blueberries--but if i have to guess, then its not a good sign. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation, decent acidity. Eh.

Draft at Caponeís. Pours dark straw, clear, with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, sour blueberries. Tastes of malt, tart blueberry, some florals. Not a lot going on here. The 2nd major disappointment in a row from these guys after Aggro Wheat. This is not the quality of fruit beer that Terry Hawbaker was known for, and letís cue up Cinderellaís ballad, "Donít Know What Ya Got (Till Itís Gone".

Draft at Caponeís. pours a strange pale brown with little head. nose is fruity ketones, aldehydes,, blue berry jelly. first sip is nice pale brown malt, slight farmhouse yeasty quality and blue berry skin. finish is clean with a slight hard candy flavor.

egajdzis (5253) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Hazy purplish color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of blueberry, and taste of basically the same, finished dry with the skins.

PhillyCraft (3073) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 9, 2013
On tap w Pat and Janine at Bainbridge, pours lightly hazed cranberry with light to medium lacing. Aromas and taste are lightly tart fruit, apple, toast, and yeast. I get more fruit punch then blueberry esp at the finish. Body is light. Really refreshing and easy to drink but lacks body and flavor for me. I know blueberries are tough to translate in beer but I thought there would be more anti-oxidant goodness in this one.

Draft ay Caponeís. Purple red pour with no head. Aroma is very slight. Fruity and a little barnyard. Taste is sweet, slightly full and very refreshing. Berries are present but not overly dominant.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Yellow body, lacey. A classic farmhouse with a blueberry tartness. A little funk in the aroma. Carbonation a bit up there. Decently drinkable, nicely done.
