COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This entry is for the bottled version of Saison Noire (which contained brettanomyces). Ratings for the brewpub/draft version should go HERE

This Belgian-inspired dark saison has a rich, deep amber color and a wonderfully complex caramelized maltiness complimented by the funky, fruity and earthy character of our house saison yeast. Decadent but dry with some lingering funk and fruit.

750, corked and baled. Thanks brian! Pours a burnished dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Caramel and a vinous oaky berry tang on the nose. Creamy medium body with tons of lively carb. A fair bit of mild funk with some minerally bite on the mid palate. Long funky mineral dry finish. Great stuff. Thanks man!

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this 750 ml bottle. The beer pours a murky orange color with a huge white head. The aroma begins with some caramel malt sweetness and then has a nice tart/funky character to it. The flavor is caramel malt with some slight tartness as well as some great citrus fruit such as oranges. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
