COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A creamy, amber colored English-styled ale loaded with East Kent Golding hops, caramelized malt and Maris Otter pale ale malt prized for its biscuity bouquet and hearty flavor.

On tap @ Bullfrog. Hazy copper with an off white head and some lacing. Spicy earthy English hop aroma with some light caramel maltiness. Sweet flavor with average bitterness. Medium body which is nice considering the 3.8%abv, not too watery.

pours a hazy caramel color with nearly no head. aroma is mostly balanced between poasty caramel malt and mild hops. flavor has a light malt backing with some caramel sweetness and more hop than expected...more english than citrusy. mouthfeel is a bit watery with a dry hoppy lingering finish. this one was just alright.

Draft at Bullfrog. Pours copper with off-white head. Nose is caramel malty, with some hops, earthy tannins, and cobwebby esters. Tastes Caramel malty, with some hops, and mid-palate tannins that remind me a little of an ESB character. Decent.
