COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Scheduled for release on the first Friday of May 2010, this sour red has been patiently maturing in oak barrels for 18 months and will be bottle conditioned a further 4 months prior to release. Why ’the Jaspers’ you ask? Check out Frank Herberts novel ’The Santaroga Barrier’ and find out.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG12, Ulfborg.

[ Bottle # 87/378 ]. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, tart fruit, tart berry, wood, light vinegar. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and light acetic (vinegar) with a long duration, oxidide, tart, sour berries, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120818]

Bottled. An amber beer iwth a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, vinegar, and terpentine. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of malt, caramel, vinegar, and terpentine, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours a clear deep amber with a rough beige head. Tart nose, some sweet vanilla and wood. Medium body, tart fruit, Bretty and again lots of sweetish oak and vanilla. Ends dry and tart but not overly so. Amazing balance. 290311

Bottle @ Papsø. #58/328. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity sour tart aroma. Slightly sweetish sour tart citrus flavor with weak acidic hints. Has a fruity sour tart citrus finish with hints of wood.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at TFODRBSG 2012. A clear one, dark amber in color and topped by a small, light beige head. Berries, vinegar and some caramel maltyness in the aroma. Lightly vinegarish flavor with some berries and caramel. A touch of wood too. Full to medium body, tart and a bit heavy on carbonation. Lasting sourish finish with caramel hints. A rather nice one, but far from world class. 120818

Bottle (#58/378) at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear brown - white bubbles. Roasted, oakey, fruity, acid, spicy, dryness, raisins, vanilla, nice sourness. Nice.
