750ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of yeast, pear, apple, grapes, funk, and spices. Poured amber/dark gold in color with a large, creamy, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles. Very sweet flavor. Tastes of grapes, fruit, candi sugar, pineapple, resin, citrus, apple, pear, and honey. Full body. Average texture. Lively carbonation. Sweet, fruity finish. Very sweet. Almost like fruit juice.

750 CC bottle from PUB’N. Pours turbid deep gold toward orange with 3-finger uniform, creamy white head. Huge cork pop and that lovely smokey waft upon cork pop. Great sticky concentric lace rings. Nose is rock sugar, yeasty spice, florals, peppery and hopcitric notes. Tastes rock sugar and syrupy apricotty at first, with backup hopcitrus, some honey, spicy peppery notes, and a hefty, fairly complex palate. This one is good, not great. The first half is a 3.7, the repour a 3.0, for the 3.3 average, as it gets hot late and falls apart a bit.

22oz bottle, courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks, Ken! Dark hazed gold, off white fizzy head. Soft bready spice aromas warm to hints of honey pear and citrus. Tart and sweet citrus flavors ride hints of brown sugared pineapple. Light bodied, soft carbonation , sweet spiced finish.

750mL bottle. Pours a hazy, deep golden color; slightly hazy; huge light tan head with great retention and creamy, fine-bubbled lacing; really nice pour. Lots of honey, overripe yellow fruits, and basic yeastiness in the aroma; on the sweet side, with light spicing and pepper. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: solid carbonation; slightly tart citrus, honey, and Belgian sugars upfront; very soft presence in the mouth; creamy, slightly heavy and sweet; lots of honeyed sweetness. Lengthy finish: honey, tart citrus, and light doughy / breadiness.

Sampled at Pints for Pets. Pours a clear golden color with a small fizzy white head. Nose of grapes, cherries, and yeasty funk. The flavor is outstanding. Almost a lambic flavor to it. A lot of bready fruity flavors with a decent amount of alcohol in it as well. A good body to this tripel. A quality brew from Bullfrog.

Bottle sample at Pints for Pets. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Nose is big Belgian fruitiness, slight sour apple, some pear, grapes and some bread. Taste of the same fruits with some alcohol warmth. Tasty brew. Dry finish.
