On gravity a Bristol Beer festival, 19/03/10. Black with a slight, off-white head. A beer that was dominated by black currants in aroma and flavour, with a touch of roastiness and not much else. Ok, but a bit strange.

Cask Stillage at the Assembly Rooms, Derby Beer Festival 11/07/2008 Passion fruit aroma. Dark bronze coloured very fruity and sweet on the palate with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp finish.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear dark brown color with a small tan head. Has a roasted fruity black currant aroma. Roasted malty fruity flavor with some hints of caramel and berries. Has a fruity malty finish.

Cask at The Brusnwick, Derby, 17-08-08 Pours black with forest fruits leaping out at yer’ I thought blackcurrant but was informed that it was raspberry. This beer is quite sweetened by this fruitiness , which tends to overide any roasted flavours that were there, quite strange and unusual but ok.

Cask, gravity, at Derby Festival ’08. Dark brown. Fruity blackcurrant aroma. Sweet slightly watery fruit taste. A little marmite bitterness. Not really to my taste.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty and with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt and caramel.

Dark brown with no head. Caramel and fruity aroma with pineapple and mango notes. Sweet and fruity, winegum-like even.

Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium red brown color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, fruity, berry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is very sweet tropical fruits, some hoppyness and slight earth. Flavour is really tropical fruity along with some sweetish notes and caramel. Wellbalanced and pleasant.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF2007. An almost black coloured stout. The aroma is fruity and treacly. A bit of sticky soy. Quite interesting in the nose. The taste is dry with a little fruit, and some smoky roastiness. Not packed with flavour but OK.
