A lot of H2S in the aroma, otherwise crap sparkling white wine and apple juice. Tastes like sparkling apple juice with LOADS of sugar added. Disgustingly sweet. Headache-inducing. Like one of those sickly-sweet ginger beers only without the ginger to balance it. No good.

355ml bottle. I can’t comment on the pour, as I consumed it from the bottle - I would hazard a guess at pallid yellow. The aroma is simple sugary apple, as is the taste: there is nothing of any real interest in either department. It is too sticky, and a touch cloying on the palate. An overly sweet commercial lolly-water cider, best avoided.

Another Ok cider. It’s cheap, tastes decent, and goes down great on a hot day. What more could you want?

It is what it says it is. It’s a cider, very heavy on the sweetness. You can smell it, you can taste it. It’s almost liquid sugar.

Bottle - pours pale yellow. Sweet syrupy aroma with a hint of apple. So sweet any flavour is masked.

Straw yellow. cloying sugary syrup with a hint of apple. I’m having trouble getting to 75 characters without being too negative. Oh I’ve done it.

This cider was particularly sweet. Poured a pale yellow green colour. Tangy after taste. A little too sweet for my liking. - 330ml green glass bottle.

Didn’t expect much from a cider revered in Oz as the biggest hangover magnet. Tasted from the bottle and poured into a stein. Bright pale yellowish gold body with lively irregular carbonation bubbling to the surface and forming a gentle ring around the glass. Subtle overripe pear and apple nose, quite clean and a little tangy. Sweet in the mouth (obviously), quite creamy and smooth. Flavoured more towards soft pulped, pale pears with a nice hint of old Granny Smiths that add a tang but don’t stop the swallow from becoming gluggy and cloying. Finish is not as long as the palate suggests but seemed a little crisp like the description. Sweet in all without a necessary acidic balance and as far a Australia’s lesser known regional ciders go, this one is the bland macro-equivalent of a glass of James Squire Pilsener. Inoffensive but bland. I must say, though, it did go down easily.

375 ml bottle. Pale straw colour, sweet apple/pear aroma. A little bit dusty. Flavour is quite sweet, apple, honey, and a touch of brown sugar. Lingering sweetness. Not very complex, but quite enjoyable. Gets a bit cloying.

Bottle: Clear sparkling apple juice with alcohol added... Sweet ripe apple aromas with some grassy and buttery notes. Basically the same as that absurd long-life clear apple juice you can buy that has been artificially sweetened. The only real thing going for it was the carbonation which sorted out the residual sugar on the tongue.
