Donít have much option to try cider around here, and what I had tried (Strongbow) was lacking, at best. When I saw this bottle, I thought it would be worth a shot. Wish I had a chance to read up on it first, given how artifical this stuff seems to be. Pours a rosy-gold with no head, smells lightly of spiced apples. Taste is... bluh. No wonder the Irish fight. Apples at first, then slightly overripe apple, then chemical, then some more chemical... I wish I could find a cider worth a damn, cause this ainít it.

Can on a flight. In plastic cup with ice. Fizzing dehydrated piss colour. AJ nose, surprising tannins, some gueuze-like dank cork.
Watery sugared Bramley pie filling-type flavour but with a hint of something deeper; peel, calamine. Maybe Iím a little sunstruck but throws down pretty good at altitude. Refreshing. And more complex than the lagers and (some of) the white wines Iíve been drinking for the last 2 weeks.
