(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Magners Original Vintage Cider" - but only at 4,5% ABV. What a strange colour indeed, this is sort of orangey pink! Some sort of medicinal, chemical tang in both aroma and flavours - not so pleasant. Those off flavours dominate and owerpowers the apples. Pity. 240705

fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - OCT 29, 2006
Golden color, fizzy, no head retention. Light aroma of ripe apples. Dry mouthfeel, taste of watery unfiltered apple juice. The flavor is very simple, some residual sweetness. Just a notch above the poor mass ciders.

It’s time to set the record straight: sweetish, golden, and bland. Inferior to Strongbow. Notes of vanilla, tannin, and vague wood hints. Finishes far too sweet for non-francophone cider, like apples coated with icing sugar. All this praise for industrial cider? Get off it.
