Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 18, 2004 An orange cider with no head. The aroma is sweet apples and the flavor is a dry sweet apple flavor. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 24, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Magners Original Vintage Cider" - but only at 4,5% ABV. What a strange colour indeed, this is sort of orangey pink! Some sort of medicinal, chemical tang in both aroma and flavours - not so pleasant. Those off flavours dominate and owerpowers the apples. Pity. 240705 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 5, 2002 It’s time to set the record straight: sweetish, golden, and bland. Inferior to Strongbow. Notes of vanilla, tannin, and vague wood hints. Finishes far too sweet for non-francophone cider, like apples coated with icing sugar. All this praise for industrial cider? Get off it. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 11, 2008 56.8 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden with a fully disappearing white head. Mild yeasty and light phenol apple aroma. Flavour is initial sweet followed by a light woody phenol apple flavour. Light wooden dry finish. argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Jan 5, 2004 Within 30 seconds, the minimal white head had diminished to the point where I could scarcely distinguish the appearance from apple juice. Aroma is sour, even barnyard, apple, alcohol noticeable. Taste is sweet apple juice, some sourness and light alcohol, finishes wet. Body is equivalent to apple juice, with essentially no carbontation -- whether that's good I'm not entirely sure.
