It’s a good cider, bright and fruity, goes down easy though nothing all that spectacular.

Can on Norwegian Air flight from CPH to LDN (currently over Amsterdam) - pours orange with a tiny white head. Aroma and taste is medium to high sweet apples, lots of artificial and chemical notes going on here, apple juice, apple peel, sulphuric and acidic not in a good way. Not much else to choose from apart from Stella :( ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, sample. Pours dark golden-orange colorcolor. Tastes very mildly sweet with very gentle acidity. Tastes lightly of apples, not much of fresh apples but also not of cooked apples. Well fermented and the flavors mellowed. Some grainy feel to it. Red wine qualities. OK, better than most ciders I had but lacks freshness.

(Bottle 0.33l) Very pale orange, clear colour. Small, rapidly disapearing, white, fizzy foam. Light body, watery texture, medium to high carbonation. Aroma: Red apples, appple skin, winey, soft yeasty. Taste: Moderate sweet, slightly sour, a bit tart, red appples skin, slightly woody. Crisp cider, with a bit to weak aroma, but still easy to drink.

A very nice colored and flavored cider. The aroma of slightly tart apples is very appealing. Well carbonated.

Bottle at a wedding in Berberstown Castle. Looks like flat Lucozade. A very mild apply aroma. The taste is watered down apple juice with artificial sweetener. Poor.

Bottle at RVC, actually picked up for the purpose of making Snakebites. Snuck a rating of it in the process. Light gold, clear. Aroma of apple peel. Flavor of light apple, apple peel, dry finish. Comes across as very British. Not bad. But not exciting.

Xavalias (275) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2015
330ml bottle as Magners Irish Cider Original. Pours clear fizzy melon/peach color like a rosé wine, with only a very transient head and no lacing. The aroma has some sweet apple in it, mixed with some chemical soda notes, artificial sweeteners, borderline medicinal. Yeasty phenols. The taste is wine-y, tart, mild acidic, light sweet. The palate is a watery, high carbonation. Decent sweet and fruity finish.
