It’s a good cider, bright and fruity, goes down easy though nothing all that spectacular.

Clear copper with lively carbonation. Aroma of sweet apples, some vinous tones. Moderate sweet, apple flavors, a bit acidic, dry finish. OK.

My standard party cider in my fridge. Fizzy, sweet, orange and generally inoffensive. Appley and nowhere near scrumpy..

Can from Bishop Cider. Probaby the least sweet cider on the table tonight. Dry, lots of apple, tart, and a little metallic.

Can from Bishops. Aroma is super dry, like a champagne. Yeasty nose. Flavor is dry, light sweetness and fruit but ever dry. Light fruit on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden orange, no head just a rim of bubbles, fierce carbonation
Aroma - Very little apple, just acidic sweetness, an odd artificial slightly peppery note
Taste - Tangy bit artificial cider apple, quite acidic, not the worst, but gets very boring by the end of the pint
Palate - High carb - far too fizzy, light body, tangy acidic, fairly sweet. Finish quite dry then a lingering sugar residue
Overall - A poor mass-produced boring cider

330 ml bottle bought at Wellcome Superstore in Sheung Shui.

Very pale orange colour with red tint; Razor-thin head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; No lacing with active carbonation; Light sweet and sharp tart aroma of dry white wine and apple wine, with yoghurt, apple flesh, strong tannic, light wood and light musty; Very light sweet taste of apple juice, with faint alcohol, strong carbo, faint tartness, soda water, and very light tannic; Light body, very watery palate; Mouth feel is very thinned apple water with faint wineyness, faint tart notes and tannic. B-O-R-I-N-G!... Wet after taste. Very easy to mouth.

Comments: This one is almost a carbon-copy of its perry counterpart, Magners Pear: watery as hell, no distinctive tart / woody / tannin characters. This is cider’s very own Milwaukee’s Best Premium: apple water, that is.
