2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
When I first started drinking I loved cider, especially Scrumpy Jack. However, I really lost the enthusiasm for these brews. This was a unique item, as it’s hard to come by different Irish brews. It’s mostly the standards, so this was unusual. Here’s the bad news, it didn’t set itself apart from the pack in any way. It’s got that classic tart apple, somewhat vinuous aroma, a slight bit of that yeasty champagne quality. It’s appearance is that clean golden color, with almost no head persay. Not much to look at. It’s taste, nothing unusual, a sour, cider flavour with a bit of acidic sting. The feel is rather normal as well, thin bodied, light on texture, abrupt in finish, and moderately high on carbonation. Nothing special, super forgettable. Snooze-fest.

Very pleasant commercial cider. Golden-copper pour with a refreshing apple and caramel body. Lovely on ice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Caramel and apple aroma with slightly acidic scent. Clear copper colour. Flavours of a variety of apples, and caramel with some citrusy notes. Light body with high carbonation. Pleasant, but a bit too sweet for my liking.

pours a light red amber color with very light carbonation. The aroma kind of smells of dried urine to be honest. The tastes is sweet and smooth, definitely a cider. Doesnt leave a dry aftertaste. A good beer despite what i’ve said i recommend it.

Pint at The Irish Rover, Louisville. Aroma: Very slight apple skin must; slight oak; slight tartness; light to moderate sweetness. Appearance: Pleasant light copper; well carbonated pour with no head. Flavor: Apple skin and a hint of oak up front; some light to moderate juice sweetness midway through, but a dry finale. Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Found this to be a pretty safe, but unoffensive cider. Fine cider in a pinch.

Golden color with some fizz. Light aroma of ripe apples, a bit chemical. Dry flavor of water and fake apple with some sweetness. I didn’t like this that much. Boring and the fake apple is easy to tell.
