2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cfrancis (1223) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2011
Pours a dark yellow with a fizzy head and loads of carbonation. Aroma is sweet apple and yeast. Taste is a little too sweet and a little too carbonated for me.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 tfredvik (296) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2011
Clear, golden. Aroma and flavour of apples. Moderate carbonation, half dry. Not exactly a very exciting cider, but nice anyway. Is very close to Magners Original Irish Cider, but lacks the subtle touch of oak of the latter.
[50 cl bottle, Meny, Carl Berner, Oslo]
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 16, 2011
Originally rated August 2009. Testing a few ciders tonight. This one is the first one and pours a rich golden colour, with lots of carbonation of tiny bubbles, a decent white head (but this one has retention closer to a beer, than cider) and actually leaves a nice coat right over the brew and a beautiful ring around it. Good aroma of fresh apple juice with a thick mouthfeel, that falls thin quite fast and leaves no stickiness, like syrup. Quite sweet at first, then the apple taste goes through, to end with a crisp finish and just a little grain in the aftertaste. Kind of on the corn side of grain. Seems to change into a vegetable aftertaste too (which I would say is the only offensive side of this cider). Overall, interesting (especially the "serve over ice" recommendation). Not for fans of "dry" ciders.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 7, 2011
500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear dark yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet apples and some sugar. Flavour of green sweet apples, mild citrus notes and wet wood. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Basic and very drinkable.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 DuffMan (4242) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 24, 2010
This is the kind of shit that made me never give ciders a chance, until I stumbled upon some good ones. Pours like a ginger-ale, clear golden withbig gassy bubbles and a fizzy, rapidly vanishing head. Aroma is sweet syrup with barely a hint of applejuice. Sugary, syrupy sweet, apples as an afterthought. Drainpour.

Bottle - Clear. Pinkish orange. Sweet, apple, dry finish. Fairly plane and simple.
