Very sweet when it warms. Lots of pear. Not really for me. Bit of an alcopop in my opinion.

Bottle @ restaurant in Edinbrough. Scotland trip. Courtesy of Stefaan. Light golden blond coloured with some light carbonation and no head. Fruity refreshing light pear hinted aroma. Medium palate. FInish is sweet fruity pear hinted with some light fruity acidic hints. Ok.

Golden colour with a bubbly head that soon vanish. Sweet pear nose. Medium body. Rich sweet artificial pear flavor. Nah not my cup of perry.
[Bottle from local off licence at Kings Cross in London, England]

Well it's a pear cider. You all had one. Categorically NOT a perry though cos that term is an anathema to these 'pear cider' producers. It's a semi sweet perry. At least it's not as sweet as stella artois pear cidre. AND it's not pretending to be from Belgium. Just Ireland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

StueyD (828) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2012
Mid golden yellow coloured cider with a steady effevescence. A very light fruit aroma, suggestions of pear, apple and a hint of sour plum, or greengage! Fizzy mouthfeel. The initial taste is a dry, fruity one, the orchard fruits come to the fore, with a helping of sour, balsamic vinegar. But then there is an underlying, cloying sweetness which becomes more evident towards the end.

A golden colour in colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet pear. Flavour of sweet pear and a little dry finish.

Light yellowish gold with a thin diminishing, off-white head with no lacing. Smells of sweet pear, peel and plastic. Thin watery body with soft carbonation. Moderate sweetness with strong dry pear finish. Its sort of bitter too.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A mediocre cider. Nothing more.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch in a London pub. Since I really like Magners I also expected much from this Bulmers Pear. Got disappointed. Only light pear taste, altogether too weak and watery.

500ml bottle (White Hart, Canterbury)
Pale and fizzy. Not much aroma, but very cold. Watery palate, fizzy. A gentle pear aspect to the body, no sharpness, no bite. A bit like a watered down fruit juice. Not too sweet, so better than many crap ciders. I was parched when I had this - it did quench my thirst.
