COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our BULWARK ‘Original’ is a hand crafted Cider that tastes like a traditional English Cider. It is dry, crisp, and refreshing. Our Cider is all natural and made with 100% fresh-pressed apples from the famed Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada. Settlers first started growing cider apple varieties in this Valley in the early 1600’s with many of those varieties being exported to England during the 19th century. BULWARK ‘Original’s unique character and flavours are meant as a tribute to those 400 years of apple growing tradition in the Valley.

Clear light hay colour. Persistent bubbles. Aroma is bruised apples and pool water. Flavour is sweet apples upfront, tart near the finish. Dry and crisp. But the finish tastes like chemicals to me. Chlorine. I’m not the best judge of cider but this was terrible.

Not a great cider. Pretty subtle apple flavour with a watery finish. Didn’t taste artificial or sweet but not too interesting either.

Had on tap at Barley Brothers. Pale yellow. Aromas of apple and Apple concentrate. Pretty intense. Strong sweet and sour apple flavors. Decent.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw color with no head. Aromas of freshly cut apples. Clean crisp flavors of yellow and green apples with a little bit of a meaty aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Quite refreshing.

500 ml bottle from NSLC. Pours a crystal clear bright golden yellow with fizzy, immediately disappearing white head. Aroma is fresh, green apple with a pleasing tartness. Flavour is tart, green apple peel with light spiciness. Drying finish. Rather nice cider.

Pale and bubbly. Aroma is tart and makes me think of granny smiths. The taste is crisp with some nice spice character. Really enjoyed this cide and it helped me figure out what I like in ciders. Would drink again!

Pale effervescent straw coloured cider. A light malic tartness initially along with a little bit of soft spice. There is a touch of apple skin character and some bright fruitiness. A very bright cider with a bit of estery sort of fruitiness. Lovely cider really - fresh but with enough complexity to keep it interesting.
