draft @ brewpub. Reddish-brown, semi-opaque with tan head, has decent retention. Aroma has a whisper of pedio but not as bad as the others. Also really faint dark malts in the background...Light, soft, and drinkable with nice flavors. A bit kit-syrup but nice chocolate malt flavors. Best of the bunch.

A clear dark brown beer with a thin brown head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with notes of cinnamon, light coffee, not bad. In mouth, a smooth drinkable dunkel with lightly peated notes, a bit thin but weel made. More like a schwarzbier in my opinion. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 24, 2010.

Chestnut colour with a thin head. Some haze. Rotten aroma is pure kit beer. A little bit fizzy and fairly thin. The flavours - perhaps a light note of chocolate - don’t really come out very much.
