12th August 2009 Clear brown beer with a tidy cream coloured head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Light malt reasonably well balanced with bittering hops. However the hops just impart bitterness and not much else. Slight metallic note in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sm89walt (1419) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2009
Bottle. Amber coloured body with a good sized off-white head that slowly dissipates to a fine foam - never completely disappearing - leaving a scattered lacing. Sweet and fruity malt-based aromas with an occasional metallic undertone. Spicy hop bitterness asserts itself after a fairly straightforward initial malty flavour. The lasting dry bitterness in the finish gradually gives way to a nutty, roasted malt aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium body, pleasant beer.
