Golden brown in colour, and brewed using Boadicea hops. Clever, eh?

Cask@The Maypole, Cambridge. Deep golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some florall notes as well as some mild sulphury notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, floral and some some sulphury. Quite bitter finish as well.

Gravity, Merton Winter Beer Festival. Copper, dirty beige head. Raw, green hop aroma, grassy fresh hay with a nice catty funk. Very hop forward in a way that comes across as almost salty. Nice toasty malt background. Grapefruit pith lingers on the lips and in the exhale. Even in the company of much bigger beers, this really shines! If there weren’t so much else left to try, I would have been pleased as punch to call this beer of the festival and drink nothing else all evening.

Cask , gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 08 Poured mid amber in colour. What a wonderful session beer, a lot of people raved about this and I can see why. Wonderfully hoppy, fruity and really well balanced, the citrus bite came through but was tamed by a lovely almost soft marmalade sweetness. I think this was my first Buntingfor beer but I can assure you after an introduction like this it won’t be my last, marvellous!

Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Festival ’08. Brown to gold with white head, a pearler. Lovely dry hoppy notes right from the start in a sessionable bitter. This was in tip top condition and packed lots of flavour from the start, citrusy grapefruit and lemon with touches of peach on a fuller malt body. Great beer.
