Cask but iv no idea where from. Alround rating: Irn bru, buttery, soft, fruity, very strange ale, but still quite drinkable.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Golden amber with a thin white head; toasted malt aroma; light and peppery flavour with some caramel; gentle but sustained bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at The Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingford, Cambs. Gold with white head. I had a strange nutty flavour from this, almost almond in character with a dry, bitter hoppy flavour towards the end, certainly a fuller flavour than most Golden Ales. Pretty reasonable.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 09. Gold, bubbly beige head. Quite a decent stoney, fruit salad beer, quite minerally. Bit of caranel, quite decent.

cask @ the rake. Dark amber, little head good lace. Nice hoppy nose, quite sweet with a little sour barley. Very dry hoppy flavour, strong citric hop nicely balanced with a dollop of caramel. good summer drink, very quaffable.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Northamptonshire BF. A golden coloured beer with a nice loose white head. The aroma is nicely hoppy with a little sweetness. Big bitter hop in the taste and a really big body for a 3.8%er. A very tasty well brewed beer as expected from Buntingford.

Very dry, straw coloured citrus hopped bitter; lovely summertime sessioner that quenches the thirst nicely. Sampled at the Coalheaver’s Arms Beer Festival, Peterborough May 2008
