3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (gravity dispense) at Elysian Beer Festival on 11 January 2013. Bronzey / brown colour - quite a dark bitter. Fruity and a little sweet. Some earthy hops. Has a bit of an "autumnal" feel - not quite into Winter Warmer territory. There was something in the aroma that I couldn’t quite put my finger on that reminded me of celery. Decent enough but not really my type of beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask conditioned handpump Townhouse Ely 12/01/13. A near black coloured beer with a grey wisp of head and lace. A smoky nose leads to a fruity malty Wintery taste. A bit of dry smoke again in the mouth. Pretty nice.
