3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Reddy brown with white head. This had a full malty body, rich with lightly roasted notes, some baked bread, hints of fruity yeast then a filling dose of hops, again quite fruity, apricot, peachy, pineapple. Lasting and very pleasant on a Saturday afternoon, sitting in the sun with Beer Fest banter going on. Nice.

Gravicask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2011)
Sweet malty aroma. Dark. Very nice - sweet, but not too sweet. Plenty of roast, which stays for the finish. Good balance, but hops not so forward in the mix.
