COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Christmas beer, brewed to cynical cash-in on that time of year when we all spend money we don't have just to prove ourselves. Sorry, meant to say brewed to help celebrate Christmas and all it's traditional values of friendship over everything else. Needless to say it's only brewed for December each year

Cask, gravity, at The Pig ’n’ Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, in the Pig’s Winter Festival ’11. Bit late for Christmas. Copper gold with a small white head. Sweet spicy aroma. Creamy, sweet strawy taste, like an ice cream sprinkled with crumbled muesli bar. Which I like. Mid bitter finish. Most agreeable.

Guest cask at the Anchor Inn, Digbeth, Birmingham on 29th December 2008. Rusetty/copper coloured ale (not blond). Quite bitter, not spiced but straight hoppy.

From bottle. This beer has a lovely dark orange color, reminiscent of a heffe weizen. It is cloudy and opaque. Delicious looking large head that lingers. The appereance is just perfect. The flavor is very citric, with a definate grapefruit aura. Quite bitter and hoppy. very refreshing beer. Peppery in the palate. It’s body is thin, but it can overlooked in favor of all it’s other qualities. Good beer. Not a x-mass beer at all. I give it an B.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. A copper gold coloured beer with a loose white head. The aroma is full of grapefruity hop notes. It is very fresh and citric. The taste has great sharp grapefruit hops also. Lovely bitterness and lovely flavours. Very tasty. Not Christmassy in any way, but very good.
