COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - September 2010 (Single Hop Series).
Tettnang is a German hop variety grown around the small town of Tettnang close to the shores of Lake Constance in Southern Germany. It is one of only a handful of varieties classed as ’Noble’ and is commonly used for aroma as well as bitterness. They impart a traditional hop aroma to beer, and can also add a flowery/spicy element as well.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2010. Gold, thin white head. Decent hit of Tettnang hops. Drinkable. Decent blond beer. I liked the herb hop kick on the end.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense St Albans BF 2010. A golden beer with an off-white head. A slightly spicy grassy aroma with some citrus fruit. It’s the same in the mouth where the fruitiness is a gooseberry or lime flavour. Pretty decent as you’d expect from Buntingford.
