Tettnang is a German hop variety grown around the small town of Tettnang close to the shores of Lake Constance in Southern Germany. It is one of only a handful of varieties classed as ’Noble’ and is commonly used for aroma as well as bitterness. They impart a traditional hop aroma to beer, and can also add a flowery/spicy element as well.
