Gravity dispense at the Happy Man, Spring Beer Fest, 20/03/15. Golden amber with moderate off white edgeing. Nose is caramel, candied fruit peel, earthy notes, light spice, straw. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, light tropical notes, mandarin. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Ok bitter, peppered with earthy hops and faint tropicana.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2014 Cask at The Empress, Romsey Town area of Cambridge, Saturday 20th December 2014. Pours clear amber good clarity. Flat and boring. I never had high hopes for this beer but still disappointed as it is at best a below average effort. To be fair to the pub it is in good nick, its just a bit poor really. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov10 2.7

Gravicask, shared with Finn at St Albans Beer Festival. Bright dark golden coloured body. Vanishing beige head, fragile lacing. Fruity hops on the nose with hints of vegetables. Mild malt-fruity taste partially overrun by boiled vegetables. Thin to medium bodied. Not that great, possible to drink. (25.09.2014).

Cask@gallows bird real ale festival 2014. Yellow orange. Soft buttery, corny malts, some sweetness. Had citrus also, but overall quite malty, and with a nuance I didn’t appreciate much.

Cask at the Stockton Ale and Arty Beer Fest. Golden ale with a small white head. So,e pineapple notes, but a bit bland and watery. Not too bad considering the ABV. Quite refreshing.

Cask @ Gallows Bird, RAF2014. Pours a reddish orange, small, white head. Aroma is caramel, light grass and butter, diacetyl. Taste is fruity, quite nutty, somewhat buttery, some caramel. Strong and stingy. Quite full, not much carbonation. Good in the beginning, but turns almost off-putting in the long run.

Cask @ Gallows Bird ⅩⅦ Real Ale Festival
Aroma has butter, diacetyl and almost nothing else. Perhaps some toffee and distant grassy tones. Flavour has strong buttery tones, diacetyl, some minerals and hints of toffee. Too much diacetyl here.
