My personal favourite at the 10th Annual Townhouse Beer Festival in Ely. A special beer to celebrate Wiggy and Jo’s birthdays. Black IPA on cask. A dark, reddy-brown beer with a lacy light tan head. Aroma of pine, toffee and caramel. Nicely bitter with some citrus and floral hop characteristics. Also chocolate malt and coffee flavours although the pine flavour dominates. Very interesting beer, I’d love to see this brewed again!
