Panzerfaust (374), Santiago, Chile Jan 13, 2008 Pours a deep dark hazy brown color, almost black. Medium off-white and fast diminishing head that leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma is is malty, toasted. Dark bitter chocolate, mokka and milo hints. Cocoa powder and other chocolate alternatives.
Flavor is sadly infected, with choclatery and roasted ceral notes underneath citrusy touches. This had potential to be good but it’s ruined by the infection. However I still think it’s not as bad as the previous ratings. Maybe the aging helped.
Carbonation is medium, the finish is intense, lactic but leaves lemony notes. Medium to big body, smooth silky texture. I hope this one gets over a better quality control and that the brewery resolves its infection issues.

davidpl (389), Santiago, Chile Jul 30, 2007 Appearance: dark brown color. Medium head, of beige color, few persistency.
Aroma: toasty cereals, sweet, highly yeasty, something rancid, candy, not nice odor. Reminiscences of dark olives.
Flavor: toasty of low persistency, sweet malty, very much yeasty, rancid. Touches of chocolate, berries and dark olives. Finish with light hoppyness, metallic and smoked; bitterness mainly from toasty. Slightly warming.
Palate: light to medium body, watery and silky texture. Low carbonation.
Too much light body and toasty for a stout. Rancid, but I don’t perceive infection problems. Not complexity nor character, disappointing chilean beer…. almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Mar 18, 2007 (in bottle – restaurant in Pucon City).
Black opaque and cloudy color. Great body of foam, but that disappears too rapidly. The aroma is strong, malt and something of grass. has a aroma not very agreeable. The flavor is bitter and very acid (Probably the beer this one bad). Probably should obtain a new bottle, but I am not sure to try.
