On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Malty aroma with some caramel and plenty of yeasty spiciness. Flavour was also malty, with a hint of fruit and earthy hops followed by a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask Stillage at the Community Centre, Frodsham 12/05/2007 Some hop aroma. Bronze golden coloured earthy and a little rich on the palate with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Amber gold with white lacing head. Its good to see this new Brewery rolling out a few more beers, this is a session boys bitter, malty, biscuity body with a restrained bitter hop finish, just as it should be. Refreshing finish.
