Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, yeast, light honey - sugar. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, spicy yeast, sugar, honey sweet, light alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Bottle @ FOneFan. Slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and yeast. Flavour is malt, sweet, spices, fruit, herbal and honey.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours clear amber with bubbles on top. Nose is sweet fruit and caramel. A bit of yeast and honey. Sweet and dry yeasty flavor with hints of vomit and honey.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar and dried apricot. Sweet yeasty, fruity and sugary flavour with some bees wax and phenolic notes.

Slight hints of spring. Some fruit (orange) and honey but not very much. Dry finish. On the yeasty side, covering too many flavors. Bottle from Burg Bieren in Ermelo.

Bottle. Orange blonde color. Malt, apricot and grassy notes in the aroma. Malt and apricot in the sweetish flavor. Almost medium bodied. Highly drinkable brew.

bottle, kindly donated by Bierkoning - thank you! Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma of flowers. Fruity-malty start, pleasantly full-bodied, with nice floral accents and shy hints of citrusy hops. Slightly fruity. A spicy-floral-fruity beer. Interesting and delicious.

Definitely different from the old version of the springbok, which was dark and only rated last in 2003. This version has a slight hazy golden color with a medium white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma has some hop, bit citrus, bit flowery, bit soapy hint. Cant seem to get the honey a lot, but usually that overwhelms too much, so might be a good thing rather than a bad thing. Bit dry taste, slight yeasty. Hint of honey in taste perhaps, slight bitter. Tastes a bit like a belgian blonde.
