Murky golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Fuzzy fruit, white bread, orange peel and muted coriander are the aromatic standouts. Full-bodied and chewy with ticklish carbonation. Sweet and fruity. Bittered just enough to keep those residual sugars from running rampant. Sweet, tropical fruit finish with restrained bitterness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Courtesy SoLan. Pours a cloudy orange color, with a small white head. Pretty nice aroma, good doses of banana and citrus fruit, with a sweet malt presence. The flavor was sweet as well, good doses of Belgian candy sugar, rich sweet spices, and more of that banana all coexist nicely. Got some vanilla in the finish as well. Interesting and very drinkable tripel, although its sweetness would most likely allow for me to only drink one at a time. MiP (9162), Sønderborg, Denmark
