Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy nut brown, small head. Lightly roasty, somewhat fruity with notes of berries. Medium with careful, almost shy personality. Some pear and nuttiness, fairly low bitterness. Well made.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy deep orange to amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is slight caramelish and roasted breadish. Sweet and breadish flavoured. Mild roasted and toffee caramelish. Lingering toffee and roasted caramelish finish.

Draught at the brewpub. It pours a beautiful nut brown beer with a creamy light beige head. Good head retention. Sweet nose with hints of raisins, celery and chestnut. Malt accentuated. Sweet taste. Low bitterness. Hints of raisins, candy sugar, celery and chestnut. Nice lacework. Residual sugars in the finish which offers a reminiscence of walnut.

Caramel and light hops aroma. Light brown, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, caramel, malty, quite full. Tastes much like a light german bock.

Reasonable malt/caramel; a bit aggressive; strong bitterness.

Hazy amber color. Nice hop aroma. Good malt, dry; very good body structure; some delicate caramel and very light peanuts. Like the others, good and strong hopping.
