Can. Almost as pale as it get for a lager. Mostly diminishing medium-sized white head . Aroma is perfumed sweet cereal and some vague notes of citric hops. Taste is watered down, quite dry and grainy. Not worse than expected from a LIDL contract beer.

09.10.2004, 0,5l Can. From Lidl in Haugesund (Closed). Yellow colour white head. Weak aroma with that low-alcohol taste. Ok on bitterness, body like water and too much carbonation.

(Can 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear, pale golden with a tiny, white head. Discreet malt aroma. Very thin-bodied with a heavy carbonation. Weak accents of malt and a light edge of cardboard. Subdued bitterness. An easy drink without any major flaws. 101007

Very pale but with some sediments floating round. Watery throughout. No off-flavours, but hardly any flavour att all.

Big shiny white coarse head over pale yellow body with fast carbonation. Faint grainy, rubbery aroma with notes of apple, with something of an unpleasant edge to it. Taste is clean, bitter dry straw with notes of rubber and paper. Dry, papery taste lingers. Very watery and lacking in body. I can’t quite make my mind up about this one; it has some things that feel like off tastes, but on the other hand it seems pretty clean. The sharpness of the bitterness makes it difficult to like, though. Overall, I think the thumb is down. (0.5l can.)

500 ml can. Crystal clear yellowish golden. Throws a medium-sized coarse white head. Clean and lightly sweet grainy aroma with sweet citrus. Light-bodied with a watery texture. Very little body. Dry mouthfeel with a hoppy background. Finishes watery and slightly dry. Not much to report about except the lack of aroma and flavour.

Can from Lidl. Pale, thin, watery, uninteresting beer. The Garmans can brew truly bad beers if they make an effort. I do not think the watering down to 2,3% has helped, either! Peculiar aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2007 Can. Made for the Norwegian Lidl-stores. It tastes like water and feels like water. It is pale, pale golden, with a sparse, quickly deminishing white head and almost flat. If you want beer, you’ve come to the wrong can. (051011)

500 ml can, at LIDL Norway. Extremely pale colour, one of the palest beers I’ve seen. Large fluffy head. Very moderate aroma, just some faint flowery notes. Extremely thin and watery mouthfeel, but some moderate hops at least give this "lettøl" SOME flavour. No offensive off-flavours detected.
