Yes, you can taste the tang of fresh hops and a nice light and clean malt body. Light but flavorful and easy to drink. A good candidate for an everyday beer to keep in the fridge. The quality and flavor of this budget brand sure beats the heck out of premium or cheapie lagers from Bud or Miller. A big improvement over the previous Burger Beer formula - more hops and cleaner flavor. strangaj (229), West Chester, Ohio, USA

I was expecting something skunky, but instead we were greeted with an outstanding pale lager. There was actually some substance and character to it accompanied with a smooth finish. Please begin making this beer again, it is wonderful. Puss Gutt99 (206), Oldtown, Florida, USA

Plenty of carbonation. Corn and grains were predominant. Drank them ice cold on a hot July day. Very tasty and quenched my thirst. I liked it better than the standard macro brew alternatives. ie. miller and bud. I’d drink it again. tourette (186), San Francisco, California, USA

Not as cheap as you guys are getting it for, but for $11 for a case, its cheap. Much better than any other american standard I’ve had. I know what my standby cheap beer is going to be from now on! | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Poured into my Gulden Draak glass for classic American drinking experience. Pours a clear light golden yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is clearly adjunct heavy, but not offensive - grain, corn, etc. Flavor is basic but refreshing, some light malt/graininess, lightly acidic, lightly bitter ending. Mouthfeel is fizzy, but not as fizzy as the major macros. Overall, a beer that I would be fine with drinking if offered at a barbecue. A low-end leader.
