A great buy at $6.99 a case! The taste is questionable but I’m in college so the cheaper the beer the better the taste.

I have to admit, it took me some time to get around to this beer. All in all it is not bad. The aroma is pleasant. It pours a golden yellow with a quickly disappearing head. The taste is ok, somewhat salty. Not bad. Paid $6 for 12 cans, so it wasn’t a ripoff.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Evolutionary (49) - Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Can from harvest pizza. Light pour and little head. Mild hop and malt taste and pretty light summer type beer. Not bad for something called burger.

Overall a very basic, commercial tasting beer. Cannot see much of a difference between this brew and a macro. Needs more flavor and character to be a sturdy lager.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 roccotool (25) - USA - OCT 11, 2006
Just a step up from regular commercial brews. Sets up on the palate and makes you take notice. The black malts and six-row make their mark and are defined well. Refreshing on that finish and makes you want more.

Its one of the best american beers ever made. the old burger wasn’t as good.. but now since there using there old recipe from the late 60’s in it.. its outstanding!!!. smooth, refreshing, cheap, and blows anything A-B makes.

12 oz can. Pours light golden yellow with quickly-dissipating head and very little lacing. Almost no aroma. Taste of sour grass, some fruit, peaches?, possibly some hints of almonds. Easy to drink, but not very interesting. Would not buy again.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 BierGunner (18) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - JUN 5, 2003
A very crisp, clean taste that is ever so slightly sweet with just a whisper of hops. This is truly a great American Standard and a wonderful value ($8.49 a case) to boot. Highly recommended.
4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 Crafter99 (10) - USA - DEC 12, 2002
A great beer at a great price. My only complaint is that it’s hard to find!

this is a great beer if you can find it. You need to talk to older cincinnati citizens. I found a guy who had a can in the back of his fridge. Great beer. they should really start making it again.
