Bottled. Pale yellow with creamy head. Firm and very dry. Crisp and vital with really bitter finish. A tremendously well made pils!

Bottle, 5.0%. Dusty aroma sweet aroma hop. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is OK malty, a little lagery. Good bitterness, clean and rather crisp.

#123 Fränkische Braukunst, handwerklich gebraut...was immer das heißen mag.

Fluffy bubbly off white head. Clear straw golden body. Aroma; bread, dough, grass, dust, hops, hay, lemon. Taste; hops, pilsener malts, grains, bitter bread, spices, grass, caramels, half bitter butterscotch. Clean fresh on palate, reinhetsgebot obeyed. Finish has hops, bread and grainy malts. Nice pilsener. [50cl br btl 5.0%abv ° BB02.03.15]

Golden colour, clear; with very fine just off-white head, leaving shards of lace. Creamy, chalky nose leading to grain and some sweet pale malts, lined by spicey-herbal aroma’s rather than hops. Garden herbs, flowery. Dry-herbal and hoppy flavour with just enough malts for balance. Just a bit nondescript sweetness in mid-flavour, finish is again light, but fine hoppy-bitterness. Light body, rather well-carbonated. Maybe undramatic, but nonetheless fine-balanced and even refined southern German Pilsener. Pity I couldn’t find this one on tap.

Bottle: Light grainy aroma and grassy hop notes. Pale golden color, foamy white head.Flavor is light malty, papery and grainy. Nice hop notes, grassy and some lemon notes and a dry, medium bitter finish. Astringent, bitter finish. Quite nice Pils.

Dry and herbal bitterhop nose underlaid by honeyish malt. Pale golden, champagne bubbles and nice white lacing head. Medium body, broad hop profile which finishes on a crisp bitter note. Just towards the end it weakens a bit and gets a watery feel. Ok, but not overly exciting Pils.

pivnizub (8870) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2005
Bottle: Straw golden coloured, thin but lacing white head; shy sweetish malty, nearly caramelly nose, distinct herbal hoppiness with a faint citrusy tinge; quite dry, moderate bitter flavour; slightly bitter, short aftertaste; non demanding, but well done, though......
