| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 17, 2005 Bottled. Skunky almost sourish German hops mixed with malts. Hazy, yellow color, white head, fair lace. Maltsweet, malty of course, perfume but also the skunky hops is coming back in the flavors. Not undrinkable but certainly not a great example of the style. frylock (1029), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2005 Deep golden-amber color with a large frothy head that quickly diminishes. Malts, pefume and flowery hops show in the nose. Light malty sweetness with some yeast following close behind. Moderately bitter and dry Hallertau presence with some herbal notes as well. Sharp almost spicy finish. JorisPPattyn (5193), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2005 Huge, fluffy white head, fast gone; clear golden beer with a faint olive shine and lively carbonation; very bottom-clinging yeast. Wet grass & hay, shampooed hair (Old Spice, Petrole Hahn), milky, very earthy & yeasty aroma’s. Dry, toasted, cookie-like malts taste, with a marked hay flavour. Yeasty notes shot all through a bitterish herb beer. Crisp finish, non-sugared corn flakes and some (obviously Hallertau) hops, and a lingering aroma of crabapples. Dry beer, light to medium bodied at best, but not thin. Quite interesting Helles, even if some comments had prepared me for more fireworks. Big thanks to joss for this one. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2005 This beer impresses me right from the start. The elegant bottle, with smooth special glass and interesting label. It pours, a hazy orange-tinged golden, bubbling away with nice carbonation, and a crystal white frothy head. Sweet and dusky malt aroma, with cranberries, crackers, and brown rice. A very "whole grain" waft. Flavor is effervescent, sweet, creamy and a little tangy, with a nice dry run of hops on the background. Extremely smooth, with some lemon and yeast notes. A little chewy and bready. Palate is a slighty coppery, but isn’t really bad. This is drinkable and delicious all the way through. fluids (364), USA

Bouteille 500ml, Half-Time, N.Y., Septembre 2005. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Deep gold with a highly foamy head. Nose crisp and malty, lots of breadiness mixed with hops. Slightly underwhelmed by the flavor, quite good with the malt sweetness and slight fruit mixed with a firm, noble bite, but was hoping to have my life changed. Surprisingly fizzy.
