UPDATED: JUN 6, 2011 2011-05-24, draught at the brauhaus, 7-4-6-3-13=33
Cloudy deep blond color, with a generous, compact and persistent head. It has a quite pleasant aroma of malt and cereals, of moderate intensity. The body is lean and the mouthfeel is dry; there is some malt flavor with appreciated but mild crispy tones; the bitterness is quite strong, but the hop doesn’t come with adequate aromatic qualities. It’s a honest Pilsner, able to provide the necessary refreshment, although without thrills.

Hazy blond color; compact head. Quite strong aroma of butter. The mouthfeel is quite dry; there is not much malt flavor, but at least a quite strong bitterness, with limited hop qualities too; unfortunately the diacetyl is almost unbearable; the final is too bitter. Rough.

2007-06-13, draught at the brauhaus, 6-3-6-3-11=29
Cloudy blond color; creamy head. The malt/hop aroma (classic German) is light. The body, as the others, is soft, there are only traces of crispy malt and aromatic hops; it reminds me the many Pils brewed in buy-the-equipment-and-brew-by-yourself around Europe. Not bad, but too simple.

11/12/10/12//11
