Sweet and balanced breakfast stout brewed with half a dozen roasted malts, local coffee and lactose sugar. Served with a mini doughnut garnish.

Had as part of Stout flight with 6 different infusions. Don’t necessarily think that coconut should be paired with beer, but this version is about as good as said pairing could be. All the good qualities of the stout- sweet, vanilla, coffee, molasses, toasty - with a mouthfeel on the lighter side. Coconut is there, and noticeable, but not overpowering. Subtle and balanced. These guys are quickly becoming my favorite brewers in this beer town.

Draft to snifter at the flavored Skillet release today. Looks good; a translucent dark cola with beige lacing. Smells and tastes of dark malt and coconut with a nice mouthfeel that’s fairly light for the abv. Good beer.
